The Disabled People’s Organization of Bhutan-DPO with support from the UNFPA in Bhutan has produced the first-ever Disability Inclusive Calendar in Bhutan that focuses on the needs of the persons with blindness and low vision community.
This calendar is designed with Braille and large print text feature to provide easy access to important events and dates for daily life. The calendar is a small but an important step towards creating an inclusive society that values the needs of all its citizens.
By providing accessible information, the calendar aims to promote the empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities in Bhutan.
