To provide social support to homebound persons with disabilities and senior citizens thereby enhancing their quality of life, promoting independence, and facilitating their active participation in the community, the Organization initiated service with care and compassion Plus in the community level under Paro Dzongkhag.
DPOB have completed the need assessment for the registered persons with disabilities in the three identified gewogs of Paro Dzongkhag: Doteng, Hungrel, and Wangchang. gain a deeper understanding of the specific needs, services and supports required by these individuals.
Through this assessment, we have gathered valuable insights into their unique needs and challenges, which will guide us in designing and implementing targeted interventions. Our goal is to provide tailored support that enhances their quality of life, promotes independence, and ensures their inclusion in the community through Service, Care, and Compassion
